Campaign’s Creative Faces to Watch 2025 – Ashi Karun, Founder, CEO and Creative Direction, Dude Just Dude

Age: 23

Nominated by Thejes Francis, Marketing Manager at Dubai Parks and Resorts:

I first met Ashi when she was 20, as the Senior Marketing Exec at Nakheel. She came in with enthusiasm—a wave of fresh ideas, a strong network, and a bold vision. Initially, I was hesitant to work with her due to her age, but we took a risk, and she delivered beyond expectations. It was a major project, yet she executed it flawlessly, surpassing every company we had worked with before.

When I moved to Dubai Parks and Resorts, I continued working with Ashi on multiple projects, and each time, she upheld the highest standards of quality. Her creativity, precision, and execution set her apart. She is honest, resourceful, and relentlessly committed to excellence.

Ashi is a rare creative mind, consistently raising the bar. She is someone who follows through on her word and ensures that every detail is taken care of at the highest level. I have no doubt she’ll achieve incredible things, and I look forward to all our future projects together.

Career highlights

Ashi is a visionary entrepreneur who founded her company, Dude Just Dude, at just 18. Over the next six years, she has built it into a next-gen creative powerhouse. She is a two-time TEDx speaker and has also been invited to speak at numerous schools, universities and business events, inspiring the next generation of innovators. Recognised as a GITEX Future Star, she has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Khaleej Times, and more. Ashi has collaborated and completed high-impact projects for global brands like Nakheel, Dunkin, TikTok, Al Futtaim, GEMS Education, and DPR, consistently delivering high-impact projects. She has hosted large-scale events at iconic locations like The Museum of the Future and Dubai Media Amphitheatre. Ashi’s expertise in strategic marketing, product innovation, and storytelling makes her a key player in the creative economy, continuously pushing boundaries and shaping the future of brand engagement.

Guiding principles

My principles are simple—faith, resilience, and action. I focus on turning challenges into opportunities and don’t allow a “no” to be the final answer, but a redirection. Being young means mistakes are inevitable; I’m learning that they don’t define me and it’s just part of the process. Each project I work on teaches me to grow, refine my vision, and push forward with even more clarity.

Side hustle

I play the guitar/drums, and I perform at local events, that is probably my most fun side hustle. On the other hand, I like cubing, building websites, chess and working on LEGO builds. What I enjoy a lot is going on random adventures, meeting new people and finding ways to connect them with each other based on interests or similar projects they’re working on. Oh, and if you ever meet me, ask me for a magic trick—I always have one ready.
